The light you are showing (looks a bit like an engine block to me, not sure if its meant to) is a general engine malfunction warning according to the handbook, "go immediately to a ford dealer and get ripped off big bucks to have it reset".
I have a 2011 1.6 TDCI Focus I got the car with 40 something k miles on the clock I drove 100 miles a day for 6+ months its up at 66+k now. Until this point no issues it started first time every time not even a niggle.

Ever since I have owned my Focus, there has always been annoying vibrations that I can hear/feel from the inside of the car and it is only noticable when the engine is idle and it gets worse when having air con, lights or anything extra turned on etc. It only does this as well when the engine is warm and idling at the normal 800ish
The 1.8 and 2.0 Zetec E engines did sometimes have tensioner failure problems but as I said, I think the OP has a more recent TDCi and they do not suffer cambelt failures to the same extent as the petrol Zetec engines of 10-15 years ago so its wrong to base your argument on the weaknesses of an older generation engine.
