Yeah, its pretty standard. I have a crash every 4-6 hours of play. Ubisoft was lazy when it came to PS5 optimizations for their PS4 era AC titles. They gave us 60fps, but neglected optimization for both stability and SSD utilization. That's why load times are atrocious. It's not the system, its the game.

I do fine with most every other game in their native state (even Odyssey was great before this update) But Farcry 5 is borderline unplayable for me. The stutter and motion blur when you turn too fast legitimately gave me headaches on last gen and is still giving me headaches on PS5. Farcry 5 would genuinely benefit from a 60fps update.

Maybe it comes down to personal interest in the specific time period for each game. Gotta think that makes a huge difference. My least favorite AC games are the ones where I was like "I didn't know much about this time in history and after playing I still really don't care."
Resolution-wise, its using similar but tighter dynamic renders compared to Odyssey. 1440p-1620p. Relative to Odyssey on the same platform, Valhalla seems to have considerably more pop in than the prior game. It runs fine, holding its 30fps target for the majority of the game, and still pulls off some impressive scenery.

A Ryzen 3300X can run Assassin's Creed Odyssey at 60fps on Ultra settings, so surely these can too I hope at least ubisoft patch the game on ps5 for 60 fps (I don't care about the resolutions STns.
